…then you need to read this book! You can definitely read this book as a stand alone but as I usually do I recommend reading them all! For me, knowing all of the characters and their stories that have come before makes a great book even better!! I’m a total h* for the single dad trope so this series is one of my faves!!

West is a single dad who’s been burned one too many times. First his daughters’ mother left, then another woman walked away—hurting not just him, but his girls, too. His answer has been to close his heart and keep love at a distance. Presley, though, makes that harder than he ever expected. What was meant to be nothing more than a fling while he helped her with her coffee shop soon becomes something deeper. West might be determined to resist, but feelings don’t exactly follow the rules—and it’s clear his daughters are just as taken with Presley as he is.
Can West stop letting old heartbreaks cloud his future? What will it take for him to see that love with Presley isn’t a risk, but a chance at happiness for all of them?
I enjoyed this story and would recommend it to fans of small-town romance filled with family, heat, and second chances.

I loved West and Presley in Single-Minded by Amy Knupp, book four in the Single Dads of Dragonfly Lake series; is a beautiful exploration of love, healing, and the courage it takes to open your heart again. West Aldridge, a single dad to three young girls, works as a contractor for a construction company. His girls are everything to him, and he is determined to protect them from any more heartbreak. Presley Holiday became wealthy through hard work; work that was unappreciated by her boss. After quitting her job in Nashville she moves to Dragonfly Lake into the lake house she bought a while ago, hiring the company West works for to remodel and update her new home.

From their first meeting these two opposites had an instantaneous attraction despite neither interested in anything serious. Despite West’s determination to fight the pull of chemistry, it kept drawing them together, until it was undeniable; sizzling times and fireworks happen. West was an amazing dad, very protective of his girls, but the power of Presley and her friendship with these girls was amazing. She even named them the smart girl brigade and these girls loved spending time with her.

This was such a charming addition to the Single Dads of Dragonfly Lake series. Presley and West’s relationship had an intense emotional depth. It's a story about two people learning to trust again; not just in each other, but in themselves. I really enjoyed how their opposites attract dynamic played out, especially with West’s grumpy single dad energy clashing beautifully with Presley’s drive to reinvent herself. The supporting characters and the charming small-town setting of Dragonfly Lake add another layer of warmth, making the world feel comforting and real; like a delicious cup of coffee on a rainy day.

I loved this. This has wonderful imagery and descriptions, it came to life as I read, almost like a movie in my mind. I loved the character emotions and inner voices, their career drive and focus, plus the sizzling chemistry and tension was so good. West’s daughters were adorable and such individuals, they added a whole extra layer to the story. It’s a sweet and steamy, forced proximity romance with new beginnings, big life changes, brilliant banter and humour, relatable characters and all the feels.

Perfect couple addition to this enjoyable series..book 4. They are completely opposite in some ways and perfectly suited in others.
West has three young daughters, oscar construction worker hoping for promotion in order to provide for his family well. He has had two relationships that haven't gone well and is determined to protect his girls by staying single and uninvolved. Capable of loving but burned. Presley has money and lots of it, due to her high pressured job, but now comes to Dragonfly Lake to rest and restart at an easier pace. Doesn't know what love is, never being in a relationship. Is practical and determined. Does not expect a man like West to be an attraction but they fit well.. until they decide on a fling and feelings come into it. A marriage possibly made to be, but not without mistakes being made and hurt being done.
