Single All the Way (ebook)
Single All the Way (ebook)
They’re just two single parents who decided to become roommates for convenience. Platonic friends—nothing more. Or so they keep telling themselves…
Some people are just meant to be single all the way…right?
Emerson
Being a widow and a single mom wasn’t part of my plan. But here I am.
I suppose I should consider myself lucky Ben offered us a place to stay. Without him, who knows where we would’ve ended up.
Now all I have to do is figure out how to ignore the way my entirely too sexy new roommate sometimes looks at me… and the way those looks make me feel…
Ben
I loved Emerson first. But that didn’t matter once she fell for my best friend.
So, I moved on. And I was happy. For a while, at least.
Now, I’m a busy single dad who just asked a woman who’ll never be mine to move in with me.
I’ve always been good at hiding my feelings for Emerson. But something tells me I’m about to get even better…

First, our heroine gets sideswiped with the loss of her husband. Then her mother-in-law pulls the rug out from under her and her kids' feet. Now they are homeless until she can find a house. In steps her husband's best friend and single dad, who offers to house her and her two kids with him and his two kids and his animals. She never knew that he wanted her first as she only had eyes for the man who became her husband. Will things change now that they are in close quarters? What will the four kids think? I love stories with kids and animals in them as it just adds something special to the whole dynamics and this story doesn't disappoint. There are some very emotional moments in this story which could have you on the edge of your seat or wonder just what could happen next. I would really like to give this book more than just five stars. Hopefully you will agree with me once you read it.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Dr. Ben and his first crush Emerson are now both single parents. When Emerson's mother-in-law suddenly visits Las Vegas and then immediately sells her home, Ben offers his own home for Emerson and her two children who now share rooms with his two! With his office building on the property and the barn out the back door filled with horses, llamas, and cats next to the chicken coop with its own cock, city girl Emerson and her children have a lot of adjustments to go through. Her four-year-old Ruby misses her Nana and walks off into the woods to find her grandmother throwing everyone for a loop. The characters are very well drawn and admiral despite Emerson and Ruby's lack of experience with horses and those strange, cookie-eating llamas. It's a rip-roaring adventure I highly recommend.

Emerson and Ben - what a heart warming story. I loved how these two seamlessly became a family with their kids. Emerson - she had been through so much and Ben was so patient and understanding. Ben - oh my goodness the perfect book boyfriend/husband. And the chemistry was great between the two.
Single All the Way is a quick but enjoyable read. With the holiday season upon us, Ben not only helped Emerson get in the Christmas spirit but also me!
This book has humor (I love those llamas), spice, and a great love story. I can't wait for Amy's next story!
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
