This is the final instalment in the Single Dads of Dragonfly Lake series, where Kemp finds out he is a dad only after the tragic death of the child’s mother. He was never told, and needs to come to terms with learning to be an instant father, as well as managing his job as master brewer at the brewery he co-owns, in addition to being a volunteer fireman. However, when he has the chance for promotion and a paid job in the fire service, he then has far too much on his plate and struggles to balance all his responsibilities. Anna is Kemp’s best friend and has been in love with him for a long time, and will help him however she can, but whilst he comes to recognise his feeling for her, can he balance the responsibilities and challenges without losing Anna in the process.

This is a wonderful ending to a great series, the network of single dad’s is always there to help and I recommend this entire series. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

I have sincerely enjoyed this Single Dad series in Dragonfly Lake so much. Kemp and Anna's journey them being friends for years, sharing so much, their happiness, sadness, loss of love ones, life making them such close friends. (This community just makes you wish its a reality one not a fantasy.) When Kemp gets word he's a father...and Anna steps in to help...this twist takes an interesting turn for them...the journey of new found feelings, surviving the "phrase of new parenting " was enlightening, humorous, heartfelt and so worth the read!! Definitely loved visiting the Dragonfly Lake world again where small town vibes, Single Dads NO longer exist, found family and friends are there, you can't get lost and home of a cute Llama!!

What a great addition to the series! Loved Anna and Kemp, their deep, true friendship and their chemistry. Was hooked from the first page.

Wow, just wow. This book has a lot going on (in a good way). First Kemp finds out he’s a solo dad to a 6 month old, there’s a massive life change! Luckily his childhood bestie Anna throws herself in to help him navigate fatherhood, while he’s working 2 jobs and studying. This tugs at lots of feels, worry for Anna getting taken advantage of, happiness for them when they finally admit their feelings, angst when things don’t go well. Definitely go along for the ride with them, the end is so worth it. Plus there’s a couple of Esmeralda appearances.

What a feel good book! I have cried, laughed and seen myself sooo much in this story and am so glad that I read it! Kemp and Anna grew up together and survived way too many things together and Always had each others backs. Does that kind of friendship make for a good foundation in a relationship? Well many people would be skeptical and yet just as many would be optimistic. Which one are you? I’m an optimist and have rooted for Anna from page one. Grab this book and settle in because I didn’t put it down until it was at The End! ❤️
